Tetra Tech Rooney (REI) was founded in 1980 when a need arose for a saltwater disposal system in the Williston Basin oil and gas fields of North Dakota and Montana production fields. REI rose to the challenge by successfully designing and implementing a unified gathering system for transporting the water via pipeline, disposing it in abandoned oil and gas wells.
REI’s successful track record allowed us to grow in size and service offerings, providing ingenious oil field, pipeline and utility engineering services for the energy industry. REI continues to be a dynamic, growing company, continually investigating innovative, more cost-efficient ways to serve our clients.
Throughout our history, our seasoned engineers have welcomed and solved the most perplexing of challenges, using internally developed hydraulic modeling software and state-of-the-art applications for computer-aided design for surveying and mapping. Our experience in oil and gas pipeline engineering, in addition to our work with feasibility studies, community relations, assistance with environmental permitting and right-of-way negotiations, has helped our clients resolve complex linear transmission projects and placed REI at the forefront of full-service engineering firms.
Today, REI has offices located in Colorado, Montana and Wyoming. Our portfolio of work throughout the United States spans from coast to coast and includes work in both Alaska and Hawaii.
